My favorite Super Bowl commercial is the Doritos Crystal Ball commercial. I think that the audience that is targeted is anyone who can eat snacks. I think this because anyone can go to the store and buy them. Doritos is a type of food and everyone eats food. In the commerical, the Doritos are in a vending machine at a work office. The employee that works at the office wants the doritos for free and then gets them by crushing the glass of the vending machine with a "crystal ball". This shows anyone (even if you are crazy) can get them. There is no law against any age buying them.
Throughout the commercial, the advertiser wants us to know that Doritios are easy to get. But there are hard things like promtions. Those you have to work for. For example, the Doritos came easily and quickly. That guy did something stupid bcause it was easier. He took that risk in doing something stupid.. But the guy who threw the crystal ball and hit his boss wasn't as lucky. He took that crazy risk and it backfired.
One of the visual effects of delivering the message is that it was just a regular work day. But when there are Doritos, that work day gets a little more exciting. Something really good happens when you get Doritos, and when you don't bad things will happen. This commericial was affective because it was humerous.
